Sermon: The Five Secrets of Life – #3

Join us as we learn that if we want to abide with Christ, we must obey Him. Obedience is at the heart of the Christian life and Pastor Bob helps us understand what that means in our daily lives.

Scripture: John 15:10

Sermon: The Five Secrets of Life – #2

We continue our look at John 15 this week as Pastor Bob shares with us the second secret of life – abiding in Christ. The key to being fruitful is by cultivating our love relationship with the Lord and staying connected to Him. Listen to find out the markers of faithfulness and how to abide in Christ.

Scripture: John 15: 1-11

Sermon: The Five Secrets of Life – #1

Pastor Bob began a new sermon series called “The Five Secrets of Life.” Join us for the next five weeks as we discover the secrets that God wants us to understand.

Scripture: John 15:1-4

Easter Sermon: Empty Tombs – Proof That Jesus Lives!

We had a wonderful and joyous Easter celebration on Sunday! It was so good to see so many of you with your families. For his sermon this week, Pastor Bob walked us through FOUR TRUTHS that we need to hold close to our hearts. Listen and make notes so that you can remember them.

He reminded us that the real proof of Easter, the proof that Jesus is alive today, comes from the lives of people like us who have been willing to respond to Him – the one who makes dead things come alive.

Scripture: John 11:1-57; Ephesians 2:1-5

Sermon: Journey to the Cross – Your Mad Moments

Anger can be detrimental to your physical health, your emotional health, and your relationships. God asks us to bring our MAD moments to the cross and leave them. When someone has hurt us badly and unfairly, this is the hardest to leave. But remember that love keeps no records of wrongs.

Scripture: Matthew 5:21-26

Sermon: Journey to the Cross – Your Sad Moments

Pastor Bob continues our Journey to the Cross today by asking us to bring our SAD moments and leave them at the feet of Jesus. Jesus asks us to come and leave something at the cross. By leaving our sad moments, we can then live knowing that everything is going to be alright, even when it’s all wrong.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Sermon: Journey to the Cross – Your Bad Moments

Today we begin the Journey to the Cross as we prepare for Easter. Pastor Bob asks us, what should we bring to the cross this season and leave at the feet of Jesus. The answer? Our bad moments, our sad moments and our mad moments. These are all redeemable through Christ Jesus.

Scripture: 1 John 1:5-9

Sermon: Inside Out Living – “Use Me”

Pastor Bob wraps up his Inside Out Living sermon series this week by focusing on the last door – “Use Me.”

After walking through the Help Me, Search Me, Make Me and Use Me doors – only then can God use us for His purposes. And when we become usable, God will wear us out.

Scripture: Genesis 37-50

Sermon: Inside Out Living – “Make Me”

Pastor Bob continues his sermon series on Inside Out Living by looking at the door “Make Me.”

People who have a “Make Me” moment realize two things: 1. How much they need God and 2. That God has something for them to do.

Scripture: Luke 15:11-27

Warnock Celebration Service

On Sunday, February 18, Chatham Baptist celebrated the almost 20 year ministry of Chuck and Debbie Warnock in our community. In this audio, hear a prayer of thanksgiving and blessing from Dr. Moore followed by remarks from Debbie and Chuck reflecting on their time in Chatham.

The Lord bless you
    and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
    and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
    and give you peace.
