The Monday Morning Ladies Bible Study will be starting a new study on April 13th after the Easter holidays at 9:00 at the Fellowship Hall of Chatham Baptist Church
for all ladies who are available. The Bible Study is Breathe by Priscilla Shirer for 5 weeks. One of the greatest challenges facing women today is taking time to stop to breathe amid the activities and busyness. Because we rush ahead to the next thing, we miss the moments for tranquility, serenity and repose. And by missing those moments, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God’s greatest gifts. In Breathe, Priscilla Shirer examines the Sabbath, explaining why God created it and how it was – and is – intended to be a gift to God’s people. If you are weary, worn out and exhausted, the concept of Sabbath will change your life. From Breathe: “When you choose to have a Sabbath heart about your activities and possessions, you’re doing more than just keeping yourself from living a stress-filled, clutter-laden life. You are honoring God’s purpose – to foster holy intimacy.”
The workbook which you will read each week before coming to the sessions, where Priscilla Shirer will present a presentation of her words on the subject. The first lesson will be by Becky Bennett, from Greenfield Baptist Church in Gretna. Hope that all of you will join the 25 people from churches all over the county. At the last meeting there were 19 churches represented who came to study God’s words. The workbooks come from Lifeway at Coleman Shopping Center for $10.50.
We have coffee and water to drink, and refreshments. Those who plan to attend should contact Eleanor Haskins at 434-432-8279 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
so that you can be added to the list. There are requests for prayer for those who need it.
