At Chatham Baptist Church we gather several times during the week for worship, fellowship, small groups, and service. Click on the tabs above for more details. Typical events include:
Sunday
- Sunday School small groups at 9:45 AM. Groups for all ages. See Ministries > Small Groups tab for more information.
- Traditional Worship at 11 AM
Wednesday
- Fellowship meal at 5:45 PM in the fellowship hall. Visitors are welcome. Please call the church office for reservations by noon Wednesdays at (434) 432-8003.
- Bible study and prayer around the tables in the fellowship hall, 6:30 – 7:00 PM.
- Children in Action (6-12 years) and Mission Friends (2-5 years), 6:30 – 7:30 PM.
- Adult choir rehearsal at 7:00 PM. New choir members are welcome!
Special events
- Annual church picnic usually during the summer
- Horse-and-wagon caroling before Christmas
- Christmas Eve service with carols and communion
- Lenten services in cooperation with area churches
- Community Holy Week services on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday
- Easter sunrise and Easter Sunday services
- Community Vacation Bible School
